This years Squaw Softball Camps were quite a success. Thank you to Coach Wright and her daughters for making it such a great event for these athletes!

Today JISD staff members that work the summer enjoyed a meal to get things started off right! Directors Braden Boehme, Jacob Reyna, and Brandy Yarbrough manned the BBQ pits while other staff members brought dessert and sides! It was a fun way to fellowship with each other and kick of summer work projects to get everyone ready for the 22-23 school year. We at JISD appreciate the hard work each of these staff members put in over the summer. This picture was captured during our prayer led by Superintendent McAllister. #loveourtribe

Today JISD staff members received a very special treat! Community members came together and purchased each staff member a lunch that would also benefit the families of the Uvalde tragedy. We are humbled and grateful for such a kind gesture. Thank you! #southtexasunited

8th Grade Promotion ceremony took place last night. The students were dressed to impress as they get ready to embark on their high school career. We are so proud of this 8th grade class and look forward to all they will accomplish in their next four years and beyond. Congrats!

Ever heard it takes a village? It truly does! Getting our students where they need to be is a task that often goes unnoticed, but is vital to our students success. The last few weeks of school are especially busy with activities and trips for our students. Thank you for Mr. Leslie Smith and the entire JISD Transportation department for all they do for JISD.
