It was a busy weekend for several of our band students, who participated in the Region auditions at Lytle on Saturday.
We are incredibly proud of the 16 students who went and competed.
From those 16 auditioning, 12 students earned placement in a Region band:
Kimber, Ian, Willie, Giancarlo, Ryan, Emelia, Kyla, Clara, Jonas, Sergio, Sage, and Michael.
Out of those, 8 students advanced to Area auditions:
Ian, Sage, Giancarlo, Emelia, Kyla, Ryan, Sergio, and Clara.
Area auditions will be held on January 10th in Calallen. We are very proud of their hard work and accomplishments.
A reminder that students in the Region Jazz Band and Region Concert Bands will have their concert in Pleasanton today at 3:00 PM. We encourage everyone to come out and support your classmates.

🎉 Congratulations to Julian Ayala and Jaden Cearley! 🎉
We’re excited to announce that both students have successfully taken — and passed — their WISE Chromebook Certification exam! This is a significant accomplishment and reflects their dedication to building strong technical and repair skills.
The WISE Chromebook Certification is recommended for technicians in retail locations, repair depots, and school campuses who perform Chromebook repairs. It’s also valuable for IT professionals managing large fleets of Chromebooks in educational or enterprise settings, as well as those working in K–12 depot programs. Line managers at WISE Authorized Service Centers (ASC) are required to earn this certification to ensure compliance with WISE ASC standards.
By earning this certification, Julian and Jaden have demonstrated that they are ready to take on real-world technical responsibilities and contribute to maintaining and repairing the devices that keep classrooms running.
👏 Great job, Julian and Jaden! Your hard work and commitment truly stand out!
