This just in from Mrs Ramirez's class

We are incredibly grateful for our volunteers, Austin Pesek and Jon Forrest, who generously donated their time and expertise.

They came and worked diligently to create a beautiful aquatic environment. The fish tank is now a calming and engaging addition to our classroom.

We are so excited to see the joy it brings to our students every day. Thank you again for your kindness and dedication to our school.

High School
Fourth grade students recently completed a novel study of Because of Winn-Dixie. As part of their project-based learning, students constructed plot diagrams to analyze the text and demonstrate comprehension of key story elements. To conclude the unit, students participated in a culminating activity by reenacting the pivotal party scene hosted by the characters Gloria and Opal, bringing their literary analysis to life through collaboration and creativity.

Jourdanton ISD Statement
Our thoughts are with the Charlie Kirk family, loved ones, and all who are grieving during this time.
A recent social media post by one of our teachers regarding this tragedy does not reflect the values, mission, or expectations of Jourdanton ISD. We want to be absolutely clear: Jourdanton ISD condemns any language, behavior, or actions that are disrespectful, discriminatory, or show insensitivity toward victims of violence, their families, or our broader community.
This matter is being addressed in accordance with district policy, and appropriate steps are being taken. As a district, we remain committed to fostering a safe and compassionate environment where every student is supported and valued.
We are grateful for the continued trust and partnership of our community as we work together to uphold the standards our students and staff deserve.

Meet Marissa Eichman, one of our amazing Inclusion Aides at Jourdanton Jr. High! 🌟
