On Monday, May 12, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior students will take part in a 45 min presentation by Safer Paths focused on understanding and identifying dating abuse. The goal being to help keep our teens safe on dates. Attached is an informational flyer for parents, describing what you can do to help prevent dating violence for your children. If you do not want your child taking part in this presentation, please sign and return the opt out form that will be sent home tomorrow. It will be sent home as a hard copy with your student, and electronically through Thrillshare. #keepourkidssafe #CPH #JHS

Students in Ms. Woodward's 5th grade science classes created an organism of their own! Students wrote an essay explaining the type of environment the organism will live in, the food it eats, how it will breathe and move, adaptations it may need, and an ecosystem for the organism to live in!

Tomorrow we will be taking the ALGEBRA 1 EOC. Those testing need to bring their charged Chromebook with them. Juniors and Seniors who are not testing will have a late start, and do not need to be here until 5th period, which starts at 11:15.
Members of the Jourdanton Virtual Flight Academy attended the practice run at Randolph Brooks Air Force Base this past friday. The inaugural competition will be held on May 9th. Such a neat opportunity for our students!
