Students read about The Roaring 20s and The Great Depression during Social Studies this week is Ms. Escobar’s classroom. To reinforce the information covered she had the kids complete a digital escape room. The students were required to read a passage, decode a puzzle (Ms. Escobar’s favorite thing in the world), and answer questions to escape from six virtual rooms! She also held a little competition to see if anyone could beat her but unfortunately none prevailed. Donovan Lopez was the first to finish (right on Ms. Escobar’s tail) with a time less than forty minutes! This is quite impressive since some of the puzzles were extremely difficult to decode. Way to go Donovan! The kids had an absolute blast and are begging for more escape rooms! Ms. Escobar is proud of their hard work.
