CONVENIENT CURBSIDE DROP-OFF of SUPPLIES and other IMPORTANT INFORMATION
As we prepare for our return to school, we would like to share a few helpful hints and procedures to make things a little easier for you.
- Jourdanton Elementary will be offering CURBSIDE Drop-Off for all our student supplies this Friday, August 14th from 9:00 am-1:00 pm. Prekindergarten-1st grade will drop off curbside at the ECC office driveway and 2nd-5th grades will drop off curbside at the Elementary office driveway. Please ensure that all supplies are labeled with your child’s name and make sure you put a tag on the outside of the bag with your child’s name, grade level and the student’s name to ensure they are delivered to the right place.
- The ECC (comprised of Prekindergarten, Kindergarten and 1st grade students) teachers have asked that you play a game of TAG with your child for the first week of school. Since, parents will not be allowed to walk up to the office or go to the classrooms, our staff has asked that you put a tag on your child with their Name, Grade and Teacher on it. Younger students can sometimes be in awe of everything going on around them and may not be able to share this important information with an adult until they get more familiar with their surroundings.
- For students that will be taking medicine during school hours at the School Nurse’s office, you must complete a medication administration form. Our medication administration form can be found on the districts website for parents to print. You will then need to bring the form and the medication to the school nurse. The form is located under Health Services> School Nurse News >Forms.
