Josh Wadsworth: Biology

August 18, 2010

Below you will find my teaching schedule along with various contact information.  Also, you will find a lesson plan for each six weeks.  We will adhere as closely to these plans as possible for the duration of the year, but there is the possibility we may deviate from them along the way if necessary.

You will also note on this page a list of internet sites you may find useful during the year.  One of the test grades each six weeks in Biology and Pre-AP Biology comes from the summary of biology-related news articles.  You should find the attached list of websites helpful in finding such current events.

I look forward to working with the students this year.  Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the class, please don't hesitate to contact me.  The best way to get in touch with me is via e-mail (jwadsworth@jourdantonisd.net) but you can certainly call the high school office at 769-2350 as well.  My conference period is listed below.

Research

JISD subscribes to several databases which are accessible through the Library Resources page of the district website.  These can be accessed from anywhere having internet access using the log-in information provided in class.  These are extensive databases and best of all, they are free to the students.  Many of these same resources are used at the college and university levels throughout the country.
