 About Me:

I was born in St. Louis, Missouri.  My family moved to Houston Texas when I was 4.  My Freshman, Sophomore and Junior years of High School we lived in London, England. My Senior year we moved back to Houston, Texas.  I completed my High School Education at Klein High School, in Klein Texas.  I Graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.  My husband and I moved from Houston to Jourdanton Texas in 1999 where we began our family.  I was hired at Jourdanton Junior High in 2013 as a Special Education Aide. That year I was also blessed with an opportunity to return to university to start my Master’s Degree in Education.  I graduated in 2015 with a Master’s Degree in Education specializing in Special Education.  2016-2017 will be my first year of teaching and I am fired up for this opportunity!

Remind App

As a communication tool about upcoming tests, projects or other reading assignments that may need to be completed at home, I will be using the Remind App.  On the first day of school, I will give your student a page with our class code and instructions for receiving these messages on your phone.
