¡Bienvenidos!
I began teaching Spanish at JISD in Jan 09. I'm excited about my 1st full year. I teach Spanish 2 and 3. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2005. I received my secondary certification also from UTSA in December 2008.
My goal is to share my native language with each of my students. Our curriculum will follow the TEKS for Spanish which are: Communication, Cultures, Connections, Comparisons and Communities with an emphasis on vocabulary and grammar.
I am a sponsor of the Senior Class as well as the Spanish Club.
