Second Grade

Hi! I'm Suzanne Craig and this is my fifth year teaching at Jourdanton I.S.D. Before coming here, I taught three years at Natalia Elementary and worked one semester as a teachers' assistant in Brownwood. All of my teaching experience has been in second grade, and I love working with that age group. I got my teaching degree from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas, where I met my husband Jack. In many ways, my job is a dream come true because I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember.
I commute to Jourdanton from Devine each day where my husband works as a youth pastor. It is interesting because I get to work with young kids during the day and then help with teenagers in the youth group after hours. We have one daughter, Annalise, who is six years old. She attends first grade here in Jourdanton and loves school. We are very excited because in December, my family will be blessed with the addition of a baby boy.
I am very excited about this upcoming school year and hope to make it the best year ever for myself and my students.
