Welcome to a great and exciting new school year! Fourth grade is going to be awesome!
Hi! I'm Susan Pierce and I am very pleased to be teaching fourth grade in Jourdanton! Yes, you are right, I'm the one that talks like Hannah Montana! We're both from Tennessee!
My family has lived in Pleasanton for two years. I was born in Florida and grew up in the foothills of the Smokey Mountains, in east Tennessee. I lived in New Orleans for a short time, before moving to Texas. Yes, I did survive Hurricane Katrina and that is not something that I ever want to go through again!
My oldest son, Andrew, is a pre-med senior at East Tennessee State University, which is where I graduated from with an Elementary Education degree. My youngest son, Tyler, is in his second year of college at Northwest Vista in San Antonio, majoring in Construction Management. My daughter, Kristen, is a junior/senior (she is graduating in three years) at Pleasanton High School. She was the 2007 Miss Teen San Antonio. I can't forget Tyson, he is my two year old boxer, and he rules the house!
