Welcome to fifth grade, where we're WILD about learning! I am honored to be your teacher.
I am a native to South Texas. I was raised in Pleasanton and graduated from Pleasanton High School. After high school I attended the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor where I received my under graduate degree. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree with an Interdisciplinary Academic Major. I am certified to teach Elementary grades first through eighth and Elementary Art grades first through eighth. I decided to further my education while living in West Texas. I attended Sul Ross University were I earned my Masters of Education degree in Administration.
I have been happily married for eight years to my husband that I have known since kindergarten. We have two precious children. Our daughter is 5 years old and son is 3 years old. They are our pride and joy! We are very fortunate!
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. These individuals inspire me -- I am blessed to have them in my life! I love to be outdoors and have a passion for art!
This is my sixth year teaching, my second year at Jourdanton Elementary. Jourdanton feels like home to me. I absolutely love it!
Thank you for allowing me to be part of your child's life and yours. It is my privilege to be your teacher. Let's build a successful partnership throughout the school year!
If you need to contact me, please don't hesitate to do so. You can reach me at (830) 769-2121 ext. 241 or by e-mail at pmangum@jourdantonisd.net. My conference time is 11:00 to 11:45 daily.
