I'm a West Texan who blew into Jourdanton with my husband and three children in 1985. I grew up in Alpine, Texas, graduated from Sul Ross State University, and have been teaching for 29 years. I taught first, second, third, and for the past ten years fourth grade. Please don't ask me when I'm going to retire because I love what I'm doing and I'm not ready for the Senior Circle yet.
My three children have since graduated from college and married. I have two grandsons and two granddaughters so I'm still very much in touch with children around the clock.
I work with the best fourth grade teachers in the world. I'm also very fortunate to work for enthusiastic, supportive, and positive administrators.
