I am starting my 13th year teaching Special Education at Jourdanton Elementary. I graduated from Southwest Tx. State University, AKA Texas State, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics Education. Several years after graduating from college the need for special education teachers was growing. At that time, I earned my certification to teach early childhood, elementary and special education.
I am the proud mother of two very active boys. My oldest son, Austin, is a freshman at the University of Texas in Austin. My second son, Wesley, is in 6th grade here at JISD. He is playing football for the Pop Warner league this fall. He also plays Little League baseball and Little Dribblers basketball.
