Welcome to Fourth Grade!
My name is Holly Bailey. I was raised in Arkansas (no hillbilly jokes please). I moved to Oklahoma to attend college at Cameron University. There I earned my bachelor degree in Education, met and married my husband, and had our first child. We moved to Texas in 1997. We moved to Poteet during the summer and we are planning to build a house on our land in Jourdanton.
My husband, Billy, is an educator with Charlotte ISD. We have three children. Amber is 11 and in the 6th grade, while Ryan is 6 and in the 1st grade. Lane is 4 and is in daycare. We are very proud of them all. They keep us very busy with flag football, T-ball, pep squad, tumbling, FFA, etc.
I received my masters degree in Reading from Texas A&M - Commerce. I have 11 years of teaching experience in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. I am VERY excited to be here. We have heard many wonderful things about Jourdanton and I can tell that they are all true! We are making many new friends and the kids are loving their new school. I am looking forward to a wonderful year.
