Yearn, Learn

We Yearn to Learn!!

Hello everyone!   My name is Gracie Carnahan and I’m thrilled to have your child in my class this year.  I love teaching Pre-K and I could not have entered a more rewarding profession.  One of the best perks of teaching Pre-K is that I get to sing, dance, and wear funny hats every day!  Of course, the greatest reward is evident in your child at the end of each year-a little taller, a little heavier and a lot more knowledgeable.

This is my third year teaching Pre-K at Jourdanton Elementary.  I attended the University of Texas at San Antonio and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with an emphasis in Expository Writing.   I will be re-entering  Texas A&M-Kingsville this Spring to pursue a Master of Science Degree and certification as a Reading Specialist in grades (1-12).  I realize a strong foundation is vital to success and continually strive to meet your children’s individual needs through quality classroom learning experiences.

I am looking forward to a GRREAT Year with your child!!
