All About Me

I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. We moved our family to Poteet in 2000 because we wanted to raise our children in a small town. My husband Gavin is an Aircraft Mechanic at Boeing Aerospace in San Antonio.  I have been blessed with three beautiful girls.  Elise is 19 and graduated from Jourdanton High School with honors in 2007.  Hannah is in the 6th grade, she is an honors student, plays the flute in band, is a member of the Junior High Pep Squad and shows goats with the Junior FFA Program.  Megan is in the 3rd grade, she is an honors student, active in Girl Scouts, plays soccer and basketball, and is excited to finally be able to show goats this year with the Junior FFA.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies majoring in Early Childhood Education from Texas A & M Kingsville - San Antonio.  I did my student teaching in the Poteet ISD and then taught Kindergarten and First Grade at Poteet Elementary.  I am very excited to be in Jourdanton this year and look forward to working with your children.  In my free time I enjoy reading, fishing, hunting, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying time with my new granddaughter Ryeleigh.
