WELCOME to FANTASTIC FOURTH

Hi! I am Mrs. Lutz in fourth grade. This will be a great year. There are so many new things to learn in fourth. Be sure to keep your agenda up to date so you don’t miss out. I am a fourth generation Texan inside and out! I grew up in Dallas and moved to San Antonio in 1994. Last year my husband and I built a house near Bigfoot. This is my second year here. I love it here, and all the Texas history that goes with this area! I have taught for 22 years. Grades I have taught are 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 4th. I love 4th and 5th the most! Teaching assignments have taken me to Dallas, Houston, San Antonio (NEISD for 12 yrs.) and now to wonderful Jourdanton. I attended college at the University of North Texas. I have a BA in Political Science and later went back for graduate work and acquired a Texas Certification. I am also certified to teach ESL, elementary psychology, and Kindergarten. The best thing about school is that students can be leaders in our world and are by far more fun than adults! I have 7 grand-children and 5 kids of my own along with 3 step-daughters. In my spare time I love to walk our land, garden, and play with our dogs. We have 3 dogs, T-Bone, Sugarbaby, and Dasher. We often see our two crazy cats running through our house like lightning! Our dogs are VERY large. Dasher you may guess was named after a reindeer! This summer I got to go to Cub Scout day camp and run the BB Gun range! It was fun. I love teaching and would rather be no other place than here in fourth, at Jourdanton!
