Are You Excited About Third Grade?
I am!

I'm so excited to begin my 5th year here at Jourdanton Elementary. I'm lucky to have spent all of those years teaching Third Grade. One of my favorite things about third grade students is the fact that they've become quite self sufficient but still young enough to want to give and receive hugs!
Let me tell you a little about myself. I spent my childhood on the Texas Gulf Coast in the town of Lake Jackson. I graduated from Texas A&M in 1992, got married, and then began a journey that has taken me from Three Rivers, Texas to Cleveland, Ohio, onto Decatur, Alabama, then Guayama, Puerto Rico. I've also had several different Texas addresses. Along the way, my husband, Doug and I had 2 sons, Kyle (7th grade) and Ryan (4th grade). We settled in Jourdanton about 8 years ago and have really grown to love it and proudly call it home!
We live on some acreage outside of town and have cattle and dogs. Another wonderful bonus is that my parents retired, moved here and are our next door neighbors. I enjoy exercising, watching movies and reading a good book. My family and I spend our weekends with our boat on the lake skiing and tubing.
