My name is Mandy Vyvlecka and I teach fourth grade at Jourdanton Elementary. I graduated from Pleasanton High School in 1989, Texas Tech University in 1993 with a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education, and Texas A & M University in College Station in 1995 with a Masters in Educational Psychology. I taught fourth grade in Pleasanton for 3 years before moving to Jourdanton where I have been teaching fourth grade for the past 10 years. I love teaching fourth grade. I enjoy my job and I look forward to going to work everyday. I strive to make fourth grade an exciting, enjoyable, educational experience for all of my students as well. I credit my teaching success to wonderful coworkers, a supportive administration and school board, and a super group of kids in this community.
When I’m not at school, I enjoy exercising with fellow coworkers, taking care of my yard, and spending quality time with my family. I am married to Dennis Vyvlecka, a former Jourdanton graduate, who owns a local air-conditioning company named Arrow Air and Refrigeration (830-570-7193). We have two girls, Brooke and Claire, that attend Jourdanton Elementary and a 2-year old boy named Luke. We stay active in soccer, basketball, tumbling, ballet, golf, swimming, and cattle raising. We are proud to call Jourdanton our home!
