Registration for students new to the district entering grades 6, 7, and 8 for the 2011-2012 school year will be held on August 2, 3, and 4, 2011
Registration can be held at the Jourdanton Jr. High Office 9:00 a.m. - 12 p.m. and
1:00 - 3:30 p.m. on Tues., Wed., and Thursday
Jourdanton Jr. High School is located at 200 Zanderson between the High School and Elementary campuses in Jourdanton, Texas on Hwy 16 South.
The 2011-2012 School year begins Monday, August 22, 2011. All Jr. High students need to report to the Jr. High Gym at 8:00 a.m on the first day. Schedules will be distributed to enrolled students that morning. The school day begins at 7:55 a.m. and ends at 3:27 p.m.
Parents will need to bring: their current driver's license and proof of residency; withdraw paperwork from the student's previous school. If applicable, they may need to provide student ARD information, custody papers, or guardianship paperwork.
Students will need to bring: Certified Birth Certificate, social security card, immunization record, most recent TAKS scores, and last report card from previous school.
*Students will not be permitted to start school on August 23 until the shot record has been verified by the school nurse.
