JOURDANTON ALUMNI ASSOCIATION INFORMATION
The Jourdanton Alumni Association's main purpose is to promote a spirit of alumni unity and camaraderie through communication and reunions among alumni; locate, acquire and maintain school memorabilia; and to support the school primarily through the award of scholarships. Serving as officers are: Chair - Jeanette Harrison, Vice Chair - JoAnn Wisenbaker, Secretary - Joanne Vyvlecka, Treasurer - Susan Netardus. Bi-laws have been written and approved and will be available for viewing on the future alumni web site. Several members are now in the process of compiling a roster and addresses of Jourdanton graduates. The plan will be to have this information on the eventual website.
You can help make all this possible. June marks the month for the new 2010 membership drive. Joining the Jourdanton Alumni Association is as easy as sending in your donation. You don't have to be a JHS graduate to join. Everyone is welcome. Send $10 to: Jourdanton Alumni Association, P.O. Box 587, Jourdanton, TX 78026. If you would like to attend an alumni meeting, join them on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 at the Jourdanton Community Center. For questions you might have, contact JoAnn Wisenbaker at 830-769-3548, ext. 235. By joining, you will be contributing to the scholarship fund and at the same time keeping that old JISD Indian pride alive. Click the following links for more information:
