Jourdanton Indians Football

Friday night, November 7th, the Indians hosted the Dilley Wolves for their final district game of the season. The winner of this game would make the play-offs as the 3rd place team. However, the Indians fell short of the play-offs with the 0 - 24 loss to the Wolves. The Indians end the 2008 season with an overall record of 6 and 4, with a district record of 3 and 3.
The Indians traveled to Natalia Friday night to come away with their 6th win of the season. The Indians go to 6 and 3 overall, 3 and 2 in district play.
The Indians suffered their 2nd district loss to George West 12 - 35. Season record goes to 5 and 3, while district record is 2 and 2. Friday, October 10th, the Indians came away with their 2nd victory in district play against Freer 21 - 13. The Indians go to 2 and 1 in district, with an overall record for the season of 5 and 2.
The Jourdanton Indians began the 2008 football season with a record of 4 and 1. Their first game of the season was against Karnes City and the Indians came out on top, 35 - 13. The second week the Indians traveled to Stockdale for a close loss, 6 - 13. The Indians got back on track the next two weeks with victories over Carrizo Springs, 23 - 0 and the Homecoming game against Woodsboro, 24 - 0. The fifth week the Indians traveled to Cotulla and once again came away with the win, 32 - 14. The Indians fell short on Friday night against the Three Rivers Bulldogs, 10 - 24. The loss takes Jourdanton to 1 and 1 in district play and 4 and 2 overall.
