Texans In Need (TIN)

After watching the devastation in the Houston area we wanted to help our fellow Texans.  Some members of the JJHS Student Council suggested that we collect money to feed the evacuees from the Houston area.  We collected $216.74 from the student body and staff and the History/Science Club donated $100.  The $316.74 we collected was sent to the San Antonio Food Bank to help provide meals for the evacuees affected by Hurricane Ike.  We thank the JJHS student body and JISD staff for their generous donations.
