Fall short against Three Rivers
The Indians fell short on Friday night against the Three Rivers Bulldogs, 10 - 24. The loss takes Jourdanton to 1 and 1 in district play and 4 and 2 overall. The Jourdanton Indians began the 2008 football season with a record of 4 and 1. Their first game of the season was against Karnes City and the Indians came out on top, 35 - 13. 3rd Graders Receive Dictionary from Jourdanton Rotary
Every 3rd grade student at Jourdanton Elementary received a dictionary from the Jourdanton Rotary Club. For the past 4 years each 3rd grade student has received one of the dictionaries to take home for their own personal use.
